Susan Corry Design Services
SCD enjoys working on residential and commercial projects of all sizes. To best accommodate a variety of client needs, we offer three types of service:
For full-service design projects, SCD is actively involved from the initial meeting to the final installation. After we determine your style and how you want to live/work in the space, we’ll establish an overall design concept that includes furniture plans, color schemes and recommendations for finishes and furnishings. Together we’ll refine the concept as needed and begin the implementation. During this process, SCD will generate needed construction drawings, manage budgets, and coordinate with other industry professionals during the installation. With SCD actively managing the countless details and keeping you informed along the way, you have the time and energy to focus on other things. Design fees are determined by the scope of each project and are based on SCD’s hourly rate. Purchasing can be done by SCD or directly by the client.
SCD’s Conceptual Design service is for clients who need help articulating their style and establishing an overall design direction, but who then prefer to implement the design themselves. After we determine your style, budget, and how you want to live/work in the space, SCD will establish a design concept that includes furniture plans, color schemes and recommendations for finishes and furnishings. You can then furnish the space on your own—as your schedule and budget permit. And if you need additional help, SCD is available. Design fees are determined by the scope of each project and are based on SCD’s hourly rate.
Hourly consultations are perfect when you need help with only a few design issues. Examples include creating furniture plans for challenging rooms, selecting paint colors, and redecorating with existing furnishings. SCD charges a flat fee for the first two hours, and additional hours are based on SCD’s hourly rate.
Whether you are building a new home or office, contemplating a renovation, or simply need a few hours of design advice, please call or email to set up an initial consultation; we look forward to learning more about your project.
